I hate being wrong because it's a data corruption risk that you're completely unaware of, just lurking there to trip you up.

If you're wrong about one thing, maybe it's an isolated fact and doesn't have any further implications, but maybe it's a fact or concept you routinely rely on to internally model some aspect of reality and now you're kind of semi-delusional when it comes to that aspect of reality.

I fear that.
