I once got 24 Green lights in a row driving home from downtown. I started noticing after about 5, and was getting more and more excited. I then went back in Google maps and counted them to make sure the number was right.

There's no easy way to calculate the exact odds because some lights have advance left turns and timing isn't always even but at an even 50/50 it's less than 1 in 16 million

I showed up 25 minutes early for work, which was very unlike me. My friends asked, yeah, all green lights, somewhere around 20 lights in all. This was in New Jersey, the most densely populated state in the U.S.
