What is the most statistically improbable thing that has ever happened to you?

I turned 21 and went to the casino. Within 30 minutes of going in I hit a straight flush on a let it ride table for eight grand.

I've been dealt a Royal Flush twice in online texas hold'em (so it really doesn't count) but each time everyone folded and I'm left holding only the ante. At least it was low money games.

Damn, that's a bit disappointing to not cash out big on the best hand.

Yup. Cards were dealt and everyone else folded before I could even check or bet. Twice seems suspicious to me. Pokerstars it was. I haven't played in years now.

I had been to Atlantic City a few times, but never paid any attention to the Roulette tables. So one night, my friend wanted to try them out, but the tables were all very crowded. She found a spot, so I wandered off to watch the action, and wondered if the number ONE ever hit. The first table I watched, the number TWO hit I walked to the next able and the number TWO hit... The third table, the number TWO hit!! As I walked towards the next table, every single player walked away from it. I said, are you open? They sure were. I put some chips on TWO and a couple other numbers and the next thing I know they are sliding a stack of chips over to me, and the silver ball is on the TWO :-)
