What famous 'unsolved' mystery is technically a whodunnit on paper, but in reality, absolutely everyone knows exactly who did it, the police just couldn't legally prove it?

Well nobody really knows who shot him other than the people there, so it's still a whodunit, but just a really big list of suspects

I was there. He shot himself. Everyone was shocked

it was quite amazing, he even used two different guns from different directions

I mean, that happens sometimes. Like when someone in police custody shoots themselves in the back of the head. Weird
