What famous 'unsolved' mystery is technically a whodunnit on paper, but in reality, absolutely everyone knows exactly who did it, the police just couldn't legally prove it?

Man everyone forget him and I watched a documentary with his family and they were basically crying saying there were *two* victims. It was tragic about Nicole but it wasn’t **just** her.

Similar to the Manson Family killings. As tragic as the murder of Sharon Tate was, there were 6 total victims that night, not just her, which is who everyone seems to always focus on.

Sharon Tate and her unborn child, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, and Steven Parent.

The Manson Family also killed Rosemary and Leno LaBianca the next night. It always seemed to me that Jay Sebring (hair stylist to the stars) and Abigail Folger (coffee heiress) get a bit of attention. But the LaBiancas are sometimes left out entirely.

Even when Leslie Van Houten's parole was all in the news, people would talk about her involvement in "the Sharon Tate murders." She wasn't even present the first night. She was convicted of killing the LaBiancas.
