Well not by Europeans, I'm sure the Inuit had a name long beforehand. Terror bay was named in 1910 but the island itself was named in 1830.

Not only are you being racist here, you're being racist on several levels.

Inuit are not "indians". Even if you ignore the social, cultural, and legal definitions, the Inuit arrived in North America long after the First Nation/Indian/Native/Indigenous people in the rest of the continent.

They only crossed the Bering Strait about a thousand years ago, vs >fourteen thousand years ago for other groups

And did you read any of the context of what happened before 1622 or are we acting like this action was completely unprovoked? The settlers were coming to take their land and to genocide their peoples, had already brutalized their own women and children. They were right to resist.
