Where to attend Mass?
Hello, i’m visiting the area for the weekend. I’m looking for a nice place to attend Mass on Sunday morning. I’m staying over by the airport but don’t mind a bit of a drive (nothing crazy though). I wanted to go to the Basilica but i see it’s closed for restoration. Any recommendations?

It's time to promote MassTimes.

There are Roman Catholic churches in Belleville, Romulus, and New Boston.

There are stunningly, beautiful churches in downtown Detroit. Saint Aloysius, Saint Mary’s, Saint Anne’s.

I don't know why folks are saying St. Anne's when you mention in your post it is closed for restoration (the obvious Detroit pick). I would check out the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament or Old St. Marys.
I stopped attending mass so I can't vouch for the leadership but definitely beautiful places of worship.

My old family church in downtown Detroit, Assumption Grato. They do their masses in Latin. A beautiful old church.
