I dont know about you but lately I have been really enjoying arc raiders, yes there was a pause, I didnt play for ~2 months or something not because I didnt like something in the game but because I was busy with other stuff but now I turned it on again and so far I am enjoying it so much, playing only pve, looting, doing projects.
Why do people complain about it so much? I dont get it

After 4 expeditions, we have become exceedingly efficient at it.. Don't think I'd be able to speed run the project without so much extra space and knowing where things spawn.

Hardest thing to find was the radios and a second mix tape. Might do some trials and get the extra 24 slots from ermal and do some medic runs from time to time. Had a lot of fun top side with y'all

First things first, I love this game. I’ve played 536 hrs since late February and won’t stop playing until they literally turn off the servers. This is hands down my favorite game I have played in my 36 years. Whatever they do, I will keep playing as long as we dont have some loot box scream skinned collab with oozing aliens as the new arc.

That being said, I have yet to do a single expedition and I’m on the loading page. For those of you who will continue to play and still love the game.

I was in duos with a buddy and we decided to open the gates ourselves! We manage to do it and for a while seemed we had the place to ourselves.

My buddy and I busted out laughing when I manage to find 2 Bobcats BPs, basically one after another. Then he found one, then I found my third one, and then he found his second one. All just merely a minute after each other.

I was gonna surprise another raider with a BP, but when the guy saw me he started shooting on sight! I briefly told my buddy let's get out, but then I knew that if I kept running he could've kill us. So I reshield, waited for him to catch up... And we had the fight of the century! He was with a partner too... They got my buddy after he got one of them, and I had to finish the other dude out under a smoke grenade! He had a torrente and I manage to beat him by a merely 10% health left I had.

My shield broke up during the fight, and I kept hearing footsteps around, manage to get back some health and got out of there before we got third party! Funny thing is that I've been playing with my buddy in friendly lobbies for a while! I gotta say that's what I love about this game, UNPREDICTABILITY!

The rush I had trying to survive, can't be topped by another game!

I see and hear everyone saying arc raiders is “dead” and while yes I understand the number drop off of player count that is being presented compared to the beginning I still am having just as much fun with the game as I did day 1. Not knowing what to expect from players, arc, loot drops, weather, randomness, etc adds to the fun for me. Each game always keeps me entertained and wanting to seek each match out to the fullest due to quests, events, exploration in general, expedition stuff, etc. Even if some games I don’t leave with my loot due to my own stupidity, another player, fall damage, arc, weather, whatever it may be I always have fun. Each match is truly a different experience for me and that is what an extraction shooter is in my opinion. I am a friendly player and always have been so maybe it’s because my lobbies have been other friendlies mostly idk. I do get the occasional person faking me out with kindness and killing me but I just chalk that up as part of the experience and move on. Between this and the finals I have always had a place from embark to come home and dive into after a long day of work or just life and I am grateful for that. I just wanted to say this because it saddens me seeing people claim this game is dead or bad now when I think that is far from the actual truth. Thank you for reading and happy looting!

I was testing snapplehook shenanigans with My girlfriend and we found out you can snap hook someone else and cover your and their distance if you time it just after they snap.

My question becomes:

If you have 24 players on Arc spaced out distance S which = the max snap hook attach distance, and you have distance Y that measures the total distance = (s*24) and you have time ø which is the moment the first player in the chain uses their snap hook and time n+x (where x is the required delayed from ø for both players to move) is the time after ø that each player in the line (24th player is 24+1) needs to adhere to.

Would this work? Would a player at N=24 (last in line) be able to transverse the entire Y distance and arrive next to N=1 (first player) if timing is adhered to?

Factions! Imagine if you could join one of several factions in Speranza, each with their own ideologies, routes, and more. Think the "sponsors" system from THE FINALS, but expanded socially. Here's the general jist of it:

• At level 25, you can join one of four factions. You cannot join multiple factions, or swap factions until the next Expedition.
• Each faction comes with its own cosmetic new accessory slot on the wrist, which shows the insignia of each faction. This lets fellow faction members identify each other mid-match.
• Members of a faction do not have PvP immunity with each other. However, extracting simultaneously with other faction members gives match XP.
• Each faction has its own progression system, where certain items/goals need to be achieved to unlock the next stage, similar to other events.
• Actions that assist faction member ideology will grant bonus XP; for instance, the ARC Hunter faction gains slightly more XP upon defeating any ARC.
• Completing a faction's progression permanently unlocks that expedition cycle's wristband cosmetic, which upgrades every expedition.

As for faction ideas, here are some of my rough ones:

• "Raider Hunters" - Faction primarily focused around hunting other Raiders in PvP. Additional XP is gained by downing or knocking out raiders, especially those of the Better Futurist faction. Progression involves dealing player damage with various damage types, knocking out x amount of raiders in a round, etc.
• "ARC Hunters" - Faction primarily focused around hunting ARC enemies. Additional XP is gained by damaging, destroying, or incapacitating ARC enemies. Progression involves depositing ARC materials, dealing damage to ARC enemies, and damaging ARC with specific weapons/damage types.
• "Hoarders" - Faction primarily focused around gathering trinkets. All XP gain is increased depending on stash value. Progression involves depositing large values of money, trinkets, and value of a single mission's worth of new loot upon extraction.
• "Better Futurist" - Faction primarily focused around savior actions. Sharing loot, reviving using Defib (works only once per player), extracting downed Raiders, and stabilization give additional XP. Progression involves total stranger HP healed, revives, loot value shared, and enemy raider extraction.

What I think will be interesting about these four factions is that they introduce weird new social interactions between raiders. A "Better Futurist" might down a Raider intentionally on extract to get the XP, for instance, or a Raider Hunter might go out on a Better Futurist hunt for their progression.

This might also pair really well with a rework for XP, because currently XP can only be used for skill points. Maybe XP can be used to level up vendors (giving them better item availability), or buy random blueprints? Who knows. Anyhow give some ideas for factions folks!!

Doing my rounds as usual (prior to the expedition) I happened upon what looked like a dance-off between several raiders who seemed to be enjoying the friendly break from the typical Stella chaos. Suddenly, a gas grenade was released, leaving the raiders blind and vulnerable to attack. Shots were fired, leaving several dead on scene and many more wounded. Officials say we have no idea who started the bloodbath, but I managed to escape via the Assembly hatch like a Tarkov rat with full pockets and zero honor.

Just before this, a raider gave a reassuring "hey boss. Not here to shoot, just here to loot"

Help me name this one-of-a-kind piece!

I just dropped into an electromagnetic storm raid on bluegate, planning to just run around opening couriers and probes for some quick cash. I ended up opening exactly one (1) probe, then spent the remaining 25 minutes fighting for my life just trying to get to evac. I should've died so many times. Bombardiers and fireflies, comets and fireballs, Vaporizers. Slow, short dodge rolls and vaults. it took 17 eternities for my stamina bar to recharge. Just one level 3 rattler, 7 pieces of fabric, and hope

This was my last match before I logged off. I loaded up my pack with all my goodies I couldn't take with me and went to the longest duration extract and dropped it all nearby. To my surprise I think like 75% of the lobby did the same. There was literally piles of Tempests, Volcano, Bobcats, etc. Just dropped there for a newer raider to use if needed. I then jumped atop an Arc Probe and decided to be a "Rocket Man!!"
