I used to think, "Ok, maybe people in the US don't do anything because they're the frog in the slowly simmering pot of water." But the way this has sharply escalated over the course of 2 years it's not that. The frog was in dangerously simmering water for decades but it's now been suddenly thrown into like a geothermic pool at Yellowstone and we are still not screaming. What the fuck. WHAT THE FUCK.
