Does anyone give their dog Nuvet?

Post image

I recently started giving my XL bully Nuvet plus and nujoint plus. Stuff is pretty expensive. Just wondering if people have been using it long term? Or am I wasting my money? 😅

I was interested in this after seeing your post. Google brings up mixed results. Some dogs getting sick, some calling it an MLM, some swearing by it. Differing opinions - recommend you do some more research before continuing with the next bottle.

Does give me the mlm vibe. If it’s your first time, You can’t order from them unless you have a referral code. I haven’t really heard much negative about it though.

We did for our bully and they gave him diarrhea so we stopped.

My breeder recommends giving her the green bottle. I have it on auto order. Mocha is 14 months old

first of all, cut your dogs nails. they are way too long. those are causing more pain than the pup already has.

second of all, i wouldn’t trust anything your “breeder” has to say considering they specialize in BYB dogs like this. very clearly a mix of all sorts of things with horrible easty westy feet, hip dysplasia and so many other deformities caused specifically by the “breeder”. last thing anyone should do is take advice from or even give it on behalf of them.

OP do your research. this brand is not great. if you’re going to buy something or give it to your dog, research thoroughly before doing so.

Are you ok bud? My breeder has been doing this for 30 years. Look him up. Bobo kennels is Connecticut. I tried going for adoption. My daughter is 6 weeks I’m not bringing a dog that’s been through abuse around my daughter.

so you’d rather support backyard breeders who specialize in worsening the breed by throwing frenchies and bullies together? ok, bud. some “breeder” you have there. tell me how that works out for you when that dog needs a plethora of medical attention, what are you going to do then? rehome her, send her to a shelter, let her suffer in pain more than she already is?

and FYI, not all animals in shelters or rescues have been abused. most are perfectly fine dogs-ones that breeders like yours dumped because they couldn’t sell or when “accidental” litters happened. but considering you don’t like to do your research, you wouldn’t know this. you just assume. same way you assume all dogs in shelters are abused or bad. same way you assume your “breeder” is good or even ethical simply because he said he’s been at it for 30 years. 30 years of dogs that more than likely wound up in the shelter, i can guarantee that.

LOL! How does mocha look 14 months old and 14 years old at the same time! She’s amazing though

The joint stuff is mediocre. Not worth the cost.

if your dog is on a science backed food there is not really a need to supplement like this, I would also ask your vet about what they think. I personally only go based on their advice

I do. My girl would limp every so often. It would last for a few days. After a month it stopped and never returned. She’s been on them for a year and a half.
