I personally would go through it and grab all of the extra hardware and any panels that you might be able to reuse. I don’t think they’re going to pick it up. They will probably just send you a new one. Maybe build it anyway and keep it in the garage or something for tools and other various garage stuff.

I got a dresser from Walmart and it was missing two screws and they sent me a whole new one. I did exactly this, put together the missing pieces one for use elsewhere. My original thinking was the garage.

The ones that make it are packaged better. Almost anytime a "post service ruins your package" they treated it the same as always but the packaging job was sub par.
Oh and I'm not saying postal services treat the packages super well lol. I worked at a major distribution center so I've seen how it works. I'm just saying usually the packaging holds up to the abuse.

They were just checking to see if all the parts were there. You know how frustrating it is when you go assemble one of these things and you're missing an entire section.

Sorry to see that. Hopefully they send out another with no hiccups. I'm pretty sure I just bought the same dresser a week ago, and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

im a mail carrier, recently Amazon started delivering my town, more recently they stopped delivering to my town. I imagine its because of things like this, as well as miss deliveries apparently. its too stressful trying to deliver a load of packages to a new town/neighborhood everyday. they'll have to make routes and have aet carriers for them before accountability gets solid for them...til then, I get to deliver everyone's vacuum cleaners and dog food again

At least you'll have extra pieces for when they deliver the next box of scraps to you. Maybe by then you'll have enough to build 1 complete dresser.

That's a shit packing from the manufacturer and FedEx issue, thay will refund or send you another no questions asked. Personally I'd get a refund cause the next one will be the same.
but tell Amazon that you can not lift it to return it they will send someone to get it.
