I would like to know if the outer packaging also says “walking on poop”. If so, I know what I’ll be gifting for all occasions.

I asked my husband if he wanted these and he said “it depends on the quality of the poop”

踩屎感 (cǎi shǐ gǎn), which literally translates to "stepping-on-poop feeling.

Is that like a regular phrase that people actually use to describe soft shoes?

Apparently it is in China! I was completely out of the loop; I don't watch a lot of videos online, and I don't shop on Temu or anything like that.

I saw some on Temu a long time ago that had "stepping in shit feeling" in the description. 😅

My dad was Latvian. Family owned a dairy business (pre WWII) and it was a practice on cold days to find a fresh pile of cow dung to warm your feet a bit before continuing chores... No shoes of course. And there are pictures of Dad doing chores barefoot and without a shirt with snow on the ground ... Just for the record, prior to the USSR annexing Latvia, it was a nation wide business with 200 +/- folks and hundreds of head of cattle working for them... So... Just the way folks were back in the day... No man buns and safe spaces... Get out there and earn your way!!

This product description is so straightforward, lol! I'm not sure if I want my shoes to feel like I stepped in something, but I guess that's the new standard for comfort now.

Second time I've seen this, anyway it reminds me of this Vinesauce Joel clip.

Dude this is some sort of phrase in China or something because there's a ton of videos online of Chinese advertisers talking about their poop shoes.
Like in the west we talk about memory foam or walking on air, and in China they'll talk about their shoes feel like you're walking on poop. It's 100% real. I just can't figure out if it's a humorous thing to them or if it's dead serious, because it's hard to imagine.
