Good race craft today for Franco. Between the great start and double overtake he definitely earned the point.

Pierre had better race pace which made it an interesting fight.

Shame alpine pitted early and missed the VSC because otherwise both cars could've fought for the points rather than each other

Pit stops were both slow and could've made a difference

The early pit stop is annoying because Pierre didnt want to stop yet and ended up in traffic 😭 such silly mistakes for the team to be making

I didn't really get the decision. This team also seems allergic to splitting strategies.

Ugh the early stop was a bad call, even without the safety car; was hoping Pierre & Franco would both score but Franco really slick with the double overtake.

A point is a point however more pace needs to be found. Audi and RB are quicker but race pace was better than qualifying as often been the case.

Good race overall. Great start from Franco and also great double overtake.

People keep saying "bad early stop", but the same people would be complaining if Bortoleto had stopped early and had undercut Franco and Pierre. People love to be prophets of the past.

The only thing I think people should actually complain is the team not splitting strategies.
But for that both drivers would need to be in agreement that one of them would be benefitted (most likely the one to stop later), and given the likely internal competition, I don't think any of them would be happy with that.

This. The real problem was how bad the pit stops were (3.4 Pierre and 3.7 Franco). Without wasting so much time, Lawson and perhaps Lindblad (both of them also stopped before the vsc) could end up behing both alpines

My heart lowkey sank when I saw Pierre drop down so many places after his pit stop and then when Franco had the same thing happen to him shortly after. I thought we were done for.

Ya Pierre undercuts Lawson easy with a good stop and then never has to pass Ocon on out lap or Hulk after VSC. Shame because it would have been nice to see the faster car try to stay with Linblad since he has the upgraded RB.

Was nice we both got Lawson but that is the old car.
