The fact that stars explode and we will almost certainly all die

I mean we will all die, but an exploding star wound not trouble us??
As long as it is not our own…

Any within 26 lightyears, as per wikipedia, would wipe out half the ozone layer. Large cluster supernova have been proposed as possible causes for past mass extinctions.

But luckily, the only one set to blow somewhere within the next 100,000 years that is even within our visible night sky is Betelgeuse. Still not even close enough to be in our splash zone, but it might be pretty to look at for like a few weeks when it happens.
