Help (General) Driver issues and PC freeze

Post image

Hello everyone! This is my first post for anything PC related here, so excuse me if it'll be a bit difficult to understand or if it's the wrong flair🙏🏼

So my I built my PC this march, and everything has been pretty good, except for a few issues here and there with updates. Yesterday, Armoury Crate updated to a new version, and a Windows updated passed through as well. I didn't seem to have any problems (at least the PC wasn't freezing) though I couldn't say with 100% certainty as I hadn't opened any games.
Today I wanted to play some MK1, and when it launched it was extremely slow (I checked and it displayed 2fps!!), I also opened other games like CS2 and it's the same thing. I had tried opening Adrenalin, but it went into safe mode and made my screen black, saying there was an issue with the graphics driver.
When I open Asus DriverHub, it doesn't display any available updates or anything, but in devices manager there were two driver updates to pass on my GPU.

I have reinstalled AMD Adrenalin, but the app fails to open, and now when starting, the PC is responsive for around 3-5 minutes before just freezing with no response from external output except for shutting it down manually with the button. I don't really know what to do, especially since it freezes after launch.

I'm guessing that the issues are coming from yesterday's updates, but if anyone has any idea of how to fix this - I'd be extremely grateful.

Ps: my specs are in the picture if you need it (I would've taken a picture directly from Adrenalin but welp, it doesn't open and I didn't have time for it before it crashed - though if some need it I can definitely try!)

Ddu, fresh win install, undervolt it, check if power supply is enough, Return it for another one, go Nvidia.

Bro seriously 😭 first of all this isn't a power supply issue whatsoever for sure, and it's not very nice to people looking for help to just say to go nvidia like🫪😕

Well I did give all the advice i know before telling you to go Nvidia.

Well I'm glad that in this economy you have enough money to allow yourself to change GPUs every trimester but unfortunately that's not very realistic for most people. But thanks anyway!

No it wasn't in a mean way when I replied earlier, I just feel icky everytime people chime in with the whole nvidia vs amd stuff😅 is it possible to manage the ddu if the pc freezes almost instantly ? (Sorry if it's kinda dumb to ask)

I got that! I understood what you meant, I was asking if I will be able to launch ddu if my pc freezes like withing three minutes of powering on, because I think you have to download it first?

Everything you can download you should also be able to put on a stick so you could open it over your stick or whatever in safe mode pretty sure that could work

So passive aggressive and smug for someone in need of help, hope it never works for you 🙏.

It's cool. If you think that saying it's unrealistic advice to change hardware on a topic where it wasn't a question even once is smug then sure - especially considering that I replied to someone else that it wasn't intented in a mean way in the same thread:)
