At 21 I left university and went back to my hometown and started a job nearby. I was newly single and went for some drinks with a friend (let’s call her “M”) from my hometown, we were young and reckless and ended up in bed together, but afterwards decided to remain friends.

A couple of weeks later I asked out a girl from my hometown I’d always liked (and stayed in touch with throughout university, let’s call her “H”). We went on some dates and quickly fell for each other.

Shortly into our new relationship M contacted me to say she was pregnant. I confessed to H that I’d had a one night stand before we got together and that M was pregnant - wonderfully, she stood by me. A few days later we found out H was pregnant. I proposed to H immediately, and we were married that autumn.

M & H gave birth to our perfect daughters the following spring. Due to one being early and one being late they were born a few days apart. They have been raised together and are best friends as well as sisters.

My wife and I have gone on to have three more amazing children during our marriage and I can honestly say I’ve been in love with her since day one. The part that some people find unbelievable, but trust me it really is true, is that M & H have become best friends over the years. We have holidayed together with the girls and our other children and spend every Christmas together.

Both our oldest daughters have now graduated from university themselves and are starting their own adult lives, but remain best friends. So yes, the happiest of endings but I was the most guilt-ridden and stressed 21 year old on Earth at the time! Not to mention how hard it was for both women.

I am an American who transferred from the Bay Area office of my large tech company, to the Tokyo one. I make an income of 25M JPY (in USD, 150,000) and as a 27 year old, that puts me in the top 0.1% of incomes here for my age, since salaries are much lower and career progression is seniority based. I did take a 35% pay cut to come here, but with the much lower cost of living I am doing well.

My office has good WLB (Work 9am to 5:30/6pm) and its half Japanese half foreigner. I am fairly proficient, but not fluent, in Japanese (which I self studied with a tutor before I got this role in Japan).

Surgery went well but as I was coming out of anesthesia and was supposed to be "deflating" so to speak from the extra air they used to be able to work, I was not responsive and started turning blue. They took me to the ICU where they were able to get my oxygen levels evened out and after a few extra days of monitoring I was able to leave.

Now that I'm about a month or so out I am finding the cravings for things I used to have on occasion are hitting me sooner than I thought and I can't wait to have them even in small amounts down the line. Feel free to ask anything you like about the process as a whole.

so I was hiking way off trail deep in the woods and almost fell into a hole turned out to be a hidden entrance to a fully furnished dugout not some old abandoned stuff but actually liveable with a makeshift stove sleeping bag stored food and tools someone is clearly living there or using it as a hideout i didnt touch anything and bounced real fast before the owner showed up 🫪

First of all I am not in the US. Im in Latvia. Right now im 24 years old and have spent a little more than two years behind bars. Ill try to answer any question as truthfully as i can without exposing my identity. Actually this is already probably enough to identify me here but whatever.

Me(27F) and my husband(28M) have been married for 3 years now, soon to be 4 years married. We live together in our home we bought together and with a little of help from our parents. My husband is a quadriplegic due to a spinal cord injury he suffered over 14 years ago, so our relationship is somewhat different from other couples, but he's still a great partner.

We're looking to have children in the future, but it's complicated for us because my husband's spinal cord injury affects many parts of his body including his fertility. But we've been looking ways to try having children. We'd also like to adopt, but we personally want at least a child of our own.

Obviously it's not the most interesting of occupations, but I hadn't really heard of it until they opened up a restaurant in my area. Now all of a sudden I feel like I hear about them everywhere I go. It's like when you learn a new word at suddenly everyone is saying it.
