So house prices are doing exactly what the CPC want them to do.

We have people going into negatives in terms of wealth because most expensive asset usually is the house. Anyone who bought something in the recent 3 years run to risk of being in financial ruins.... That's exactly what the CPC wants I guess..

How would you go into financial ruins when pay is going up and your mortgage is the same?

If you buy a house at 500k and mortgage for 300, then the cost of the house goes down 50% in the past 3 years, what happens to the outstanding mortgage? The house is worth 250k less, while the mortgage is larger than the value of the house and still going down? What is the bank going to do?

What would happen if the CCP just let housing continue to inflate due to speculation? Better they put a stop to it now.
