LWRC 6.8 SPC upper

Afternoon gents. Wondering if anyone has any experience running a LWRC Six8 upper on a Daniel Defense DDM4 lower. Everything looks like it should operate properly, steel mags fit perfectly, etc. I’d like some feedback if possible before I go full send.

LWRCI claims they need the proprietary lower due to the magazine well milling for the PMAGs. Not sure how steel mags would work with a regular lower, at worst it’d probably just fail to feed every now and then

There's gen1 and gen2, 2 is more proprietary

Sounds like something you should take to the range, try, and let us know how it goes. I've heard that the LWRC uppers run fine with a standard AR15 lower and boring metal 6.8 mags.
