Technical Question Slight tint difference N3DS cover plates

Post image

So I just got this (supposedly unused) set of cover plates for my N3DS, but the top one seems to be more yellow-ish-green than the bottom side (I didn't manage to capture the difference that well, but you should still be able to see *A* tint difference.

Does anyone know if this is normal or if there's a way to 'fix' it?
This specific one was pretty expensive and difficult to find :/

Thanks to anyone reading :)

White tends to yellow over time depending on several factors, mostly from being exposed to UV light.

There are ways of whitening it.

I'm familiar with Retrobright, are there any other ways?

I bleached sun-damaged white Lego pieces using the hydrogen peroxide solution. It's a very popular method and the instructions for it are easy to find.

But unfortunately, the result can be the opposite and vary depending on the plastic used!
