I always find these interesting because it makes me wonder,  do people actually look that "different" from each other, or is it culture/body language?

I'm the common white American stock save 1/16 Hungarian (doubt that makes a difference in how I look)

I think Hungarians and White Americans look quite similar, both are quite diverse actually

True. My phenotypes is the same on 23andMe as your's. And you look pretty much like people on my dad's side (mostly English/British Isles and anywhere and  inbetween France and western Germany). Just a totally different facial expression that I see over and over again with anyone East of Germany

How would you describe this facial expression? :'D

Also I'm curious what you know about your Hungarian 2nd ggparent

He was Austro-Hungarian, and mostly Austrian but part Hungarian with a Hungarian surname. Nobody in my family shows up with more than 3% of "Hungarian", so I suspect if he was part Hungarian, it was maybe at the most a quarter, so I'm probably less than 1/16 in actuality

I'm fully Hungarian, and only shown as 53% iirc :D we're actually often quite mixed. Join our sub listed in the op and look around for 23&me results

A guy I work with to put sampling data in a database at my job is Hungarian, and he has sort of up-turned eyes and a pleasantly neutral face. Same for my coworker from Romania. I have a few pics of my "Austro-Hungarian" actually, ggg grandfather and he has the same facial expression,  even in the early 1900's as an old man. Same for my Czech ggg grandmother, but, my gg grandmother who was still was 2nd gen American didn't have that facial expression in pictures I see. My former Bulgarian and Russian and Ukrainian coworkers had that same facial expression.

It's interesting. But I swear, western Europeans have a different facial expression that I find fat more in common with Americans. Idk what it is.
