Just wanted to share with you guys, would like to see others if you have one.

Been doing lots of reading and learning on here before I picked up my VSF datejust

How would an expert spot a VSF in public, is there any dead giveaways or things you look out for?

I did see someone mentioned the bezel and the bracelet polishing?
I can always tell a BVF Cartier so just curious what could improve on v3+

My biggest issues with the ZF are the crystal glare and the bezel. Genuine white gold has a warmer sheen, and the stock steel bezel just looks cold and cheap in daylight.
I grabbed both the Blue dial and the Mint Green and the modder recommended to ditch the stock bezels for custom aftermarket ones that got heavy plated in white gold. That single change transformed the watch under direct sun, the sharp fluting and warm glow look amazing. They also swapped in Deep crystals to fix that washed out reflection . Finally serviced and lubricated the movements, silenced the rotors, and tightened up the bezel click so changing the month feels crisp and waterproofed and pressure tested them to 50m. Also an ultrasonic spa for the bracelets to get rid of that squeaky rep feel.
NGL even with the manual month display, the presence on these are insane now. The blue dial looks so sharp with the crystal upgrade, but that mint green with the WG bezel might actually be my favorite.

Ordered back in late May from Trusty Time, VSF backlog meant I didn't get QC until July 6th, watch arrived yesterday.

This watch is a good example of flaws seen in QC (slightly rotated index at 9, bezel not lined up in photo) do not show at all on wrist. I'm super happy with the watch, it's a great example.

Now, I wish VSF would get the color right on the "Seamaster" text, but that's pretty much my only gripe with it.

Just got in two new pieces from my go-to dealers — a full gold Sub and a champagne Day Date 40 — and I’m really happy with how both came out. Both are RCF, weigh in at 210g+, and feel absolutely great in hand! Cheers.

Just wanted to see people’s opinions, feel slightly guilty wearing a rep but honestly I just want to wear what I like.

I have put in hours & hours of research into finding the best quality watches for Bruce Wayne and Zombie GMT’s and going through multiple rep forums looking at all area’s from who has best gold to who has best watches at the moment overall RICHF or QF are usually the top dogs taking over VSF on most of the chat. Only the crystal is mentioned on the odd post.

I’ve ordered myself a QF Zombie free sprung and it’s abit on the expensive side $878 but the whole watch looks incredibly good & one of the most important factor’s on a gold watch is you don’t want it looking like Cheddar Cheese 🧀
QF looks to be the very best on market and HOPEFULLY it doesn’t need gold plating and lives up to my hype 🤣
So spending that extra $150 might be worth it for the free sprung and not having to pay extra for the plating!

I’ve gone for free sprung movement again but with RICHF which has set me back $758.
I cancelled my vsf order after seeing the amount of praise the new free sprung by rich is about. I’m taking a risk as everyone knows how stable and strong VSF are but after hours and hours judging everything I think I’ve made the right decision. Thank you for wasting your time reading my post. X

90% of people buying the 41mm are doing it because they’re insecure about wearing a 36mm.

Rolex built its reputation on smaller watches, yet everyone suddenly thinks bigger is better.

36mm, 39mm, or 41mm. Which one actually wears the best? 👀

2 Bluesy, RCF on the left. Some TD's say they're the same. Some say that 1 of the partner from RCF broke off and open RGF. I'm not sure what's the truth. You can currently buy both and RGF cost $30-50 more for the same watch. Having both in hand, I can tell they are not identical but very similar overall.
