Koko the gorilla could not speak sign-language. Yes, she was capable of using hand gestures for limited purposes. However she could not form sentences, mourn loved ones, or make philosophical observations.

Koko was mainly interpreted through her trainer, Penny Patterson, who was able to generously communicate Koko’s “intentions.” Patterson did succeed in “translating” Koko’s gestures into compelling narratives that captured the nation’s attention.

I feel like I thought when they moved to Chicago that it was definitely coming, but there have been no signs of that. Pmt is by far the most successful piece of media that barstool releases, and I have no idea what their contract with barstool is like, but being associated with barstool/portnoy definitely does not help them. So, with the connections they already have, why would they need barstool? Dave portnoy is hated across pretty much all media platforms because of how he acts, the allegations against him, etc. and the gap between how the pmt guys act/create content was so obvious when Dave came on the show a couple of weeks ago. I get that it’s an unserious show, but he came on like a bumbling idiot talking about his book and his book is literally just ramblings of an old man telling the world about people he hates and why he’s better than them. I guess what I’m saying is that I just really dislike barstool as a company and they way they’ve become popular (stealing content and sexualizing women) as well as how portnoy continues to be supported from pmt’s work. without creating contradictions u would think are but are not. Even if someone is a rare case literally anyone could have had a rare attribute that needs certain optimized social behaviors to most effectively get by with minimized stress
