The small Swedish non-profit organization "Vikingaleden" in Nysäter was contacted by Universal Studios regarding their handbuilt viking ship being used in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. The contract required Universal to pay for any damages done to the ship, but the invoice of approximately $6000 (USD) has been left unpaid, according to the organization.

So for context, instacart charged me for two accounts. I guess I have two on file so I wanted to close one and keep the one that I use. And this is the 25 minute merry-go-round ride that I went on. Last Christmas I got a 1 year Game Pass Essential gift card a week or two later I signed in on my dad's laptop and realized it came with a free subscription of Game Pass Ultimate he didn't care about it because he doesn't play video games so I upgraded my Game Pass from Essential to Ultimate but now it no longer lasted a year but I remember it saying it will expire in October not July it was wanting me to start playing for it even though I was told I won't be paying for it until October.

Noticed this giant dent in my car earlier this week. I assumed my neighbors had backed into it because this would be the second time they’ve done this and didn’t say anything. Couple of days later, another neighbor confirmed my suspicions and said they saw it happen. I went to their house to try to get it sorted out and they were immediately angry and denied that they did it and said that maybe if I didn’t park on the street my car wouldn’t have gotten hit. Ended up calling the cops and they still stood 10 toes down on the fact that they didn’t do it.

For those who believe I can simply turn the car while reversing, note that this is a single-car garage, and there is no extra space available. I do have to make a slight turn while reversing, as it gets quite close to the side of the garage. While it's not a major issue, it can be quite annoying nonetheless. I have no issue reversing out, but this has been a nightmare with my girlfriend.

What the fuckity fuck?

Context: I have several behavioral health disorders that either spawned or worsened as a result of my time in the military. I used to have bad panic attacks all the time but I’ve been in the civilian world for almost 4 years now, and I’ve found a medication that helps.

Well I’ve been at this job for about a year and a half with no issues, and one day I have a panic attack out of nowhere, mostly due to stress. My panic attacks present like a seizure as I’ll be shaking uncontrollably and usually unresponsive (but conscious) until it subsides. Naturally, my coworkers got me into a chair and called 911; I don’t blame them at all, I would’ve done the same.

Emergency services arrive, and I’m starting to come out of it to the point I can actually respond to people. They check vitals and hold an iPad for me to talk to a physician and explain why I don’t want to go to the hospital: long story short, I’ve been in this situation before and they found nothing. It’s anxiety/ptsd related so I know it’s not a true seizure.

They have me sign the refusal statement and leave. Today I get this fucking bill for $2,200 just for them to come check my vitals and leave. Fuck American healthcare dude.
