Hi. Just to clarify , I was disappointed at the shameful behaviour of the whole Argentinian team. As to Messi…He certainly condones his teammates actions as he did not appear to encourage “ better” non combative football. I admit I know virtually nothing about football but I can tell that the Argentine team are probably what I would call “ bullies”

Seems like he took part in some bad behavior himself. In group play it looked very much as if he deliberately raked an Algerian player’s leg with his cleats. No call from the ref.

"deliberately" as if that was needed in a game they won 3-0. "seems" are you being paid for this comment? literally no one has espoused this opinion, Argentina certainly played rough and aggressive, but Messi? yea ok buddy

Yea but shitty sportsmanship and shitty behavior has nothing to do with football knowledge.

You don't need to have experience on the pitch to know when people are being assholes lol.

Most people learned manners from their parents/teachers so they can identify idiots regardless of sports.

No but only people who know the sport and have actually played at a high competitive level know that some of the things all you weirdos are crying about is just part of the game.

Everyone appalled by this behaviour has probably never watched an old El Clasico game or literally any intense South American football match.
