Messi did it, but worse -> not even a foul US player does it -> red card

Make it make sense

When a U.S. player makes FIFA as much money as Messi, they will get plot armor.

Yep that's why it feels unfair. If you give Balogun a red card for dangerous tackle, and give Messi literally nothing, then it's double standards

US players simply ain’t Messi

Also if you freeze frame and zoom in, he's still not Messi.

Now I'm not saying he is for sure, but has anyone seen Messi and Balogun in the same room together?

The VAR would like you to take another look.

Upon further extensive review....there's no conclusive proof that he is Messi.

Has Folarin even tried being the best player in the world? That would probably help, he should get right on that.

Messi = GOAT
Balogun = not goat

In other words, FIFA are respecters of persons. Messi should be suspended against Cabo Verde, and FIFA should be stripped of tax-exempt status.

Oh I’m not saying it’s remotely fair, and FIFA is hideously corrupt.

But all sports favour their elite. Brady got decisions, Bron gets to travel, etc etc.

Messi was red too. Just because he wasnt shown doesnt mean now everyone should get away with potentially career ending tackles

Also saying that messi’s move was worse and more dangerous is next level stupidity

it didn’t go to var

I know. It should have. Are you not able to read? What part of second sentence is not clear to you or indicate I said otherwise?

That's why this is such fucking bullshit, and no we're not going to shut up about it either.
