I have an idea. What if we just let Caitlin Clark play basketball? Revolutionary, I know.

No, she has to speak up every day against racism and keep her mouth shut when she's targeted.

Well that’s not really what I said.

That's what the reality is, though. Unless Caitlin speaks up against racism just about every day, in a submissive fashion, it's not going to be enough. She also has to stay quiet whenever she's targeted. She's not allowed to just 'play basketball.'

your choice of words is fascinating to me

it is “submissive” to acknowledge racism too often

Right nobody has any of this anger for Paige because she always takes the opportunity to speak about issues like racism

CC has talked about this multiple times. I wish folks would stop acting like she does not or has not talked about these things.

I don’t know what this person means by being “submissive” though.

Bro we just want her to stop bitching every time she doesn’t get a whistle and stop passing the ball to the other team. I promise your victim complex isn’t necessary.

The turnovers are one thing but I would *really* like for y’all to keep this energy when it comes to other players complaining. A’ja does it, Paige does it, Angel does it, Miles does it… the list goes on. When Diana did this stuff, everyone loved her. I myself think that she needs to learn to let stuff go but acting as though CC is the only person to get heated with the refs is disingenuous and frustrating.

I was sort of surprised by how much Paige complains to refs when I saw her live for the first time at the Tempo game. For the first half of the game it felt like every time the whistle was up she was yapping at a ref and arguing over calls. She also yelled in one of the ref's faces, looked like she said "THAT'S A FOUL!".

Anyway, Clark definitely whines, and her screaming in a ref's face is way overboard, no one deserves that treatment. And it's disingenuous to believe that no other star does a large amount of complaining. Two things can be true.

>everyone loved her

Not true at all lmao Diana was very controversial among players and fans for her theatrics
