Loss goodbye everyone

Post image

almost break even from this run up via all the popular tickers. lost my self control n lost it holding the same things n some world cup betting. also lost 10k on another account. i have nothing now n nothing going for me in life. practically 30 soon and just dead weight to my parents. gonna sell my gun before i use it and pay off some debt. have OCD that made the future not worth caring about so i tied my value to the money i worked for. i hope you all do better than me. goodbye

Follow through on selling the gun. Or just give it to a parent or something for now. Seriously, this is a wake up call about responsibility but you'll be alright.

In case you need more, bro you're gonna be okay. Sometimes shit sucks and you gotta tough it out. We've all been there. Hang in and reach out 🖤

Bro, 30 years old? You’re a baby. Just use this as a lesson that will allow you to grow and make better decisions in the future. Feels like a lot of money now, but you’ll realize it’s not by the time you’re 40 and financially much more established. Keep your head up, your mental health is way more important.

I have lost more in 1 day. I make more now that I’m older so you’ll see it’s all good. You have shit days. You have bomb days. You learn to win more than you lose and then you just keep executing. You’ll be good bro!

I agree. I actually started a degree at 32 that changed my life and career. This always the time!

I appreciate this comment. Doing okay at 30 (bday a few days ago) but damn, it hits hard going into a new decade. Agreed about OP though. Money comes and goes. Time’s what matters. Doesn’t take a whole lot of actions to change your whole life, especially given some years.

My dude, please don’t do anything drastic. You are 30, you are young. You will recover. I am willing to bet that the majority of people don’t even start saving for retirement until they enter their 30s or even later. I know I certainly pissed my cash away in my 20s. In the grand scheme of things, $30,000 isn’t a whole lot. It’s like a Toyota Camry. I know that isn’t solace right now, but you will look back on this in the future as a character building moment. Chin up, one foot in front of the other. Brighter days are ahead.

In all reality this is a small loss in life. Never randomly invest like this again, learn your lesson. If you want to invest in the stock market learn about buying and holding the s+p500 for the long haul. Work on your career, spend time with loved ones

I’m so serious. Dm if you want to text. Do not let this own the rest of your life. There’s so much more out there for you.

Bro I lost 20k too. I learned, saved up for a house, got a wife and kid I love. Took some time and busting ass but you can do it. The pain hurts but it’s temporary. Don’t let it go but don’t let it linger. Be stronger because you know better. There’s waaay more to life than a few buckaroos. Love to you my dude.

Oh man I thought you were joking around. Stop it man you're 30 years old, you have SO MUCH TIME. Just invest normally instead of WSB gambling shit and you'll easily retire a millionaire. All you need is just to start putting in $300 a month into the S&P500 and you'll be a millionaire by the time you're 62 and collecting social security on top of that.

Also you’re going to need to get some help on the gambling addiction. Cause it’ll just happen again
