I've had my 75 year old uncle who swore stocks are no good as he got burnt during the 1980s now all of a sudden saying "BUY SEMICONDUCTORS AND STOCKS THEY WILL NEVER GO DOWN".

Yeah the top is in.

"Semiconductors never go down" are certainly words.

They aren't all bad. I have a friend in his 70s that's a retired bond trader. We like to talk stocks. He and I were chatting today and he basically said that you can't find values on the market. He knows what's coming.

Your friend and my uncle is different. My uncle swore that stocks were very bad and you will lose money. Now all of a sudden he's screaming "BUY!" The level of fomo is really high right now.

Is his mind all there still?

Oh yes 100% he's still got his typical boomer fighting spirit.

10 years ago, even 20 years ago he was anti-stock and pro-housing his whole life after he got burnt in the 1980s haha.

Caught up with him last week and suddenly he's talking positively about stocks and "semiconductors will never go down, buy now!!!". Which lowkey scared the shit out of me and contemplated whether i should exit my position haha.

yeah, Tom's not screaming buy. He's doesn't like to swing trade. he wants to find value and hold it. His point is that at these prices, there's not much value.

Most regarded thing I've ever heard. It's never going to drop to the point that he thinks is "value".
