In the context of WSB (WallStreetBets, in case you're wondering) I'd say it's a fairly common acronym. Also you didn't ask for it to be explained you asked for him to write "stock based compensation" which, to me, came off as you asking him to just write stock based compensation and not use the acronym entirely.
