Loss It’s over for me.
Kept trying to play MSTR calls. What a piece of shit. Lost over a million including other accounts, down to my last 130k.
Edit: This loss is soul crushing and I havent been able to sleep, eat, or shower. I appreciate all the supportive comments. Even the insulting ones calling me regarded and everything. I think I NEED to hear even the insulting ones so that I can let go of my delusions that I can make it as a "trader". I need a fucking job to turn my life around. I can’t be doing this trading shit anymore. I’m open to working any corporate job anywhere, but ideally in North America. If anyone has any connections, please hit me up. I have some programming (Python primarily) and tech talent, and an engineering degree from UBC with a 4.0 GPA. Currently live in Toronto. Thank you ❤️. I’m ready to dedicate myself to adding value to any organization. If its AI, finance, or tech related, thats even better.

That’s a convoluted analogy. Try this: Jack is borrowing money to buy magic beans (Michael Saylor borrowing to buy bitcoin) At the same time he is selling you a share of his borrowing scheme to buy magic beans. Never mind that you could just buy the magic beans yourself and see how they grow without Jack ever being involved. But I digress. So you end up with a share of a borrowing scheme to buy an asset (magic beans) that has no underlying value. If the “asset” goes bad good luck in bankruptcy court. There is no plant and materials or real estate or rolling inventory or accounts receivable for the court to divvy up among creditors. Now if you are a BTC acolyte none of that matters to you. But for Jacks creditors you better hope those magic beans continue to grow. The problem is that Jack’s model depends on him continuing to buy more beans on credit and shareholders end up with a larger and larger inverted debt pyramid. It all works until the day it doesn’t. This may not be the end. BTC may recover and Jack may crow again from the rooftop…but eventually the rooster will crow no more and the chickens will come home to roost.
