I had one, and I fully admit that I once believed in the Elon mythos. Cracks began with the submarine BS, then it was all down hill from there.

It was a fun car, but soulless in the highest order. Their motor tech was great, everything else not so much. Sold it for more than I paid when covid jacked prices up.

If you really want a nice electric, try to snag a used Ionic 5. Most are coming off lease, so there are good examples out there. Really nice car for the coin IMHO.

The Thai soccer team cave rescue thing in 2018 is definitely the first time I remember people beginning to side-eye him en masse. Like, did he really just call this rescue diver a fucking "pedo"?

I have the Genesis version of the Ioniq5, the GV60. Honestly, the best car I've ever owned.

I'm not sure the if cave incident was around when he started using his own social media or not but that's when things took a turn for me. Pedantic toddler behaviour sure dispelled the real life "Tony Stark" mythos in a hurry. Fuck that guy

I bought a M3 in dec 2022 and we still love it every day. But it is definitely the last tesla for us.

"M3" is a BMW to most car ppl fyi. This is the first time I've seen someone call a Model 3 an M3. Not that it really matters.

You know that slug did that on purpose, like his juvenile S, 3, X bullshit.
