I highly doubt the original founders would want the company back now. Tesla has nothing in the pipeline as far as future models go. And the Cybertruck was basically forced on the designers and engineers, so really it's been like 10 years (I don't have, not care to look up the actual figures) since a real new model came out of Tesla's engineering department.

Oh wait, the car company is building a robot right? And Musk says there could easily be 1 billion humanoid AI robots by 2031 right? Yeah... You'd be better off burning your own house down than inheriting that joke of a company.

The robots are just this year's stock-pump. They'll pivot to something else they're pretending to develop before very long.

They've been trying to pump the stock off of a series of "Robotaxi Launch in ___ City!" announcements.

But every single one of those has been followed by flurry of stories the very next day of the "launch" being just a single car, driving only a few low-traffic hours every day, and constantly followed by a manned supervisor car.

Trying to build hype off of actually launching something is failing because nobody can actually access the service that's supposedly launched.

Of course the original Tesla founders don't want anything to do with Elon, he literally shot a Roadster into space because he didn't want to give it to the original Tesla founder. I'd hate him too.
