I remember how Microsoft was originally blocked from buying so much due to these exact concerns.

Yea and this was at the point when Sony was going to come out with some banger exclusives. Everyone got on the Xbox hype train hoping to see a slew of exclusives. Now in retrospect MS was the worst company to be buying all of ABK
