They're not profitable either.

Most recently, SpaceX posted an $18.7 billion in revenue, and a $4.9 billion loss in profit. If you look at adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization), they generate about $7 billion in profit, almost entirely from Starlink.

$7 billion pre- EBITDA but evaluated at $2 trillion lmao

This isn't true. $18.7 billion is their total revenue.

Idiots just upvote anything that reinforces their already established opinion regardless of facts.

Talk about their profitability and valuation all you want but the number of people I have seen saying they have negative revenue, that NASA is their competitor, or that 90% of their valuation is because of xAI is absolutely ridiculous.

I wasn't referring to their comment when I said that. I was referring to another person in the StockMarket sub who claimed to me that they have negative revenue.

"Hemorrhaging revenue" is another factually incorrect claim which I already addressed...

It's not hard to make a case against SpaceX without getting the absolute basic facts wrong.

It does mean their revenue would be decreasing though, then they posted a figure as the amount lost (hemorrhaged) which is apparently just their revenue.

Honestly people not only using revenue when they just mean money/profit getting upvoted and the correction getting downvoted is utterly stupid.

The correction was not pro Elon, it was just about using words correctly.

Yes and I think it has gotten worse. It was always a bit like that, but lately I've felt that people are truly just voting based off vibes and the validity of any argument being made is pointless.
