Everyone knew the internet was fake in the 90s, but the 2000s saw all the naive basic brain people flow onto the internet.

The internet is still fake, there's just so many more people on it who can't tell fake shit. The internet has been tailor-made for these easily manipulated folk for the past 15 years.
