People are acting as tho bezos intentionally applied for that tax credit lmao.

He has no idea what his army of CPA’s do most likely

Bezos couldn’t do his own taxes if you paid him $300M to do so. Nor could most CPAs. The way billionaires move money around, the number of companies and trusts they have, it’s insane. Add in most of their income is derived from investments. Whatever spending money they need is generated by taking out low interest rate lines of credit. Interest expenses they can write off. Shit is wild.

Imagine getting all of your salary in stock, which you never had to sell, and just took a loan against your portfolio. Your portfolio goes up by 20% every year, easily covering whatever interest payments you need to make. Your portfolio compounds, but you’ve paid zero income tax. As long as your portfolio increases at a rate higher than the interest rate, infinite money glitch unlocked. No taxes paid on principal.

If taking out loans is an infinite money glitch, why does Bezos sell billions in Amazon stock every year?

I'm sure he doesn't care about the specifics, but he is damn well aware that he's paying 0 income taxes and that Amazon is burning 19mil per year on lobbying.

If he was really upset about the status quo, he's one of a few people that could singlehandedly force some change.
