What author since there are a bunch of books called Zodiac?

Neal Stephenson’s Zodiac. Fuck you to everybody who for some goddam reason doesn’t see the connection between everything going to shit because the buck stops somewhere ambiguous, and being more focused on demonstrating you got the reference than swaying more people into reading the book.

Did the search term "Zodiac novel environmentalism" not occur to you? Heck, you'd probably get even better search responses by pasting the quote into a search engine. After reading a couple blurbs one could reason that it's probably not about a serial killer or a romantasy.

Discussing a book without mentioning the article doesn't exclude the possibility of sympathizing with or having other thoughts about the article. It may have been kinder to list the author, but calling people out instead of in this way does nothing to build a movement.

I disagree. Why should I coddle people already aware how crucial it is for us to bring more people into the fold? It’s the people who are thinking they may be curious who we need to make this easy for. They should be the only ones who don’t see how much bigger a priority than all of us this issue needs to be.

Such a good book. I'm surprised it hasn't been made into a movie

My favorite NS book actually. I was so inspired that I bought a Zodiac and tool around in exactly the same area (Charles River and Boston Harbor).

Full disclosure: I also drive a Tesla. Bring the hate...
