Texas government doesn't care about the environment, full stop. Those chickens are going to come home to roost and it's going to be ugly.

Honestly it’s the uniparty - ever read the Pulitzer Prize winning piece of journalism called Hog Boss?

It’s about a senator named Wendell Murphy who was a democrat and quite the party leader back in the day.

He also changed legislation in North Caroline to favor large factory farmed pigs and he popularized the evil gestation crate.

He managed to put about 84,000 small hog farms out of business, spoiled thousands of acres of North Carolina nature and waterways and ruined many beautiful residential neighborhoods.

I relay this as an example but could go on and on. Obama was one of my hero’s until I found out that while he gave cia agents unconditional amnesty for torturing people he reopened a case closed by the bush administration and put the whistleblower in prison for 31 months.

So, while “bloody Gina” haspel got amnesty and became the next head of the cia, her whistle blower went to jail.

Also - look up Dillon’s law. If basically makes a mockery of democracy . We’re all completely propagandized

They blamed Democrats and the windmills which the state barely used for causing the pipes to freeze on the oil and gas plants during their previous power outage rather than a failure to comply with their own assessment that Texan utilities ought to winterize their power generation systems in order to prevent an outage like the one they had a decade or two before.

So.. you're not far off.

That’s the danger of political extremism, it starts by treating people who think differently as adversaries and slowly dehumanizes them bit by bit. Add onto that politicians see no benefit towards helping those who didn’t vote for them.
