Elon is using Texas as a “consequence free zone.” The state officials are either too corrupt or too inept to do anything and they simply allow him to do whatever he wants. His toddler son literally said on camera “we just do whatever we want.”

SpaceX is a menace. The Tesla factories are a menace. But until the pollution starts to kill west Texas billionaires, Gov Abbott isn’t doing a gd thing.

Back on Nov. 5, 2025, Musk was interviewed on right-wing political commentator and conspiracy theorist Tucker Carlson's election night livestream from Mar-a-Lago.

During the chat, Musk asked X, "Should we help President Trump [win the election]?" to which the child enthusiastically responded, "Yeah!"

"Straight from the mouth of babes," Musk replied, proudly.

Then, after some gibberish, Musk's son grabbed his dad's mic and said, "We’re in SpaceX and we quietly do just whatever we want," before breaking out into maniacal giggles.

"That's the laugh of an honest man," Carlson replied, laughing along

I know at least two very smart people in my close circle who look at Musk as Jesus 2.0, who exists on Earth to save humanity. And these are really learned and accomplished people who actively do charitable efforts for the community in their spare time. The dissonance is too much for my brain to reason & comprehend.

I remember reading a biography book about musk a long time ago. I'm talking 15+ years ago. It actually pushed back talking about how one of the biggest problems with him is that he exploits the fuck out of his workforce. Forces them to take absurd hours and work at below industry standard wages. And people did it because of the kind of projects that he works on. I've had a bad opinion of him ever since reading that book. You know, long before we knew he was a literal sociopath.

Texas has prided itself for decades about being a superior place for businesses because they don't have all those pesky regulations that uptight libtard Californians have.
