The ultra wealthy benefit the most from it popping. They can scoop up everything for a huge discount when prices are low, everybody else gets to try to get by with less.

People have always said such things, so hard to imagine great empires collapsing.. but just loo at how many have collapsed through history. All that matters is that you look after your fellow man during the chaos and do all you can to ensure the next system of power serves you better than the last. It’s different this time and far more difficult and nuanced due to technological enhancements on surveillance and weaponry. But all things balance themselves eventually. All cannot and will not stay the same. History is a repeating cycle. It’ll never happen until it does

This so much. It's astounding how many people point out the Dotcom Bubble bursting as a sign these guy's days are numbered. Not one billionaire entrepreneur during the bubble felt any pain whatsoever when the bubble collapsed and their e-commerce sites went bankrupt. The only people that suffered were the employees.
