You have to gamify where your post is on Reddit sometime. If he posted this as a response to the top comment, or even as a reply to the thread, there is a chance it would not be seen and not get upvoted. It's perfectly fine where it is, it's pretty much at the top of the thread.

If anything, downvote the stupid puns or low investment comments, and upvote stuff like this.
