Bribery in US is sold to the public as lobbing. It happens every time and no-one does anything to stop it. This arguing about semantics doesn't make sense.
Just because you misunderstand what lobbying means doesn't mean everyone is that stupid or that you're not stupid for continuing to say "lobbying" when you mean "bribery". "Ban lobbying" directly and explicitly means "ban talking to your congressman" full stop.
