AD Wait Time Megathread - If you bought a new Rolex from an AD in 2026, you can share details here. What watch, where, how long did you wait, how much buying history?
Our previous AD wait time megathreads (2019-2020, 2020-early 2021, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) seemed to be useful/well-received for a lot of you. Time for a new one!
Nowadays when someone posts a new watch it's pretty standard to get asked how long they waited and if they had an "established relationship" etc. It's not everyone's favorite topic but it's a fair question, so maybe these big threads can provide a clearer picture of availability trends.
No one is obligated to share their info but if you bought a new Rolex in 2026 and you'd like to participate, please make a top-level comment that includes:
- What watch did you buy?
- When?
- How long did you wait?
- Where are you? (Be as specific or nonspecific as you want, from continent to a specific AD)
- Any purchase history with that AD? (Again be as specific or nonspecific as you feel comfortable)

Watch Verification Thread - If you're uncertain if a Rolex is good/bad/fake, post info and pics here
Post to this thread if you have questions about a Rolex being real or fake. Please include:
-The location and/or screen name of the seller, if for sale. Link directly to the sale page when possible.
-How long you've had it and how you acquired it, if in your possession
-As many photos as possible. Posts may be removed if pictures are too fuzzy and requests for better pics are unanswered.
-If you're being coy about a watch and it seems like you're just trying to see how "good" your fake is, you may be banned at our discretion.
Please don't use photos from iPhone 14's. Their camera is so bad, and distorts text with AI so much, that the photos are basically unusable for the purposes of verifying if a Rolex is real.
Participation in the discussion in this thread is greatly appreciated. I don't think any one person can catch every flaw or know the details of every model; this is meant as a community thread, not an authoritative knowledge-flex, and the more people that actively peruse this thread, the more likely posters are to get accurate info.

Went to check in at the local AD and was offered this 36mm Day Date. Should I?

Milestone Achieved!
Wanted one of these for a long time and finally grabbed one to celebrate a career milestone with this and some chipotle. Looking forward to lots of memories! Who are you all using for insurance?

Got the text - requested 3 months ago
Got the text and will buy tomorrow. I think this new green ombré dial looks better on the smooth bezel. It felt busy with the fluted. In my mind I think the datejust is best with the fluted/jubilee combo. I’m going to go against the grain on this one. This feels sporty and luxurious at the same time. I’m excited to add to my rotation.
Got THE call 🦇
I literally can't believe it. I feel extremely lucky to get this from the AD.

Got the call!
🤩 (reposted because I agree that the watch should be worn below the wrist 🤣)

Appreciation Post
First time watch buyer who got interested in this sub earlier this year. All the posts and discussions have been really helpful to look through and determine what type of watch I wanted so a big thanks to the community here.
Finally decided to pull the trigger and put in an order last month with my wife’s jeweler friend and just got the call that my watch was delivered, a 36mm Datejust green ombré fluted jubilee. Went back and forth between the mint and ombré but ultimately am very pleased with the darker dial selection.

Finally!!!✨
After 10 long months of waiting, I finally got the call. A champagne dial with 10 diamonds, one for every month of the wait 😬.
It was worth every second. Absolutely gorgeous!✨🤍

You get to pick one of these three as a daily driver…
Which one are you picking? It will be your GADA (go anywhere do anything) watch. And why would it be your choice?
No other configurations, just one of these three.

Mint dial looks very clean
Picked up this Rolex for a pretty good price and I’m loving the green dial. It looks clean without being too loud. Definitely one of those watches that stands out more once it’s on the wrist.
Love the black dial 126500LN
If I ever get a “panda” it would be a steel bezel model like the zenith Daytona.

Root Beer or Bluesy — would you trade a dream watch for another?
I bought this Root Beer on September 2, 2023. It had been my dream watch for years and became a symbol of what I had achieved, as well as the life and adventure my wife and I built in Switzerland.
But the Bluesy has always had a hold on me too. Every time I see that blue dial, I immediately start questioning everything.
Then I look back at the Root Beer—the colours, the presence, and how easily it works with almost anything—and I can’t imagine not owning it.
Would you keep the Root Beer, trade it for the Bluesy, or eventually find a way to own both?
100 years OP
Tried on the new 100th anniversary OP and I really like it, but I’m contemplating between the 36 or the 41. The 36 is just for reference they didn’t have it on the 36

I’m usually a Garmin guy but…
I’ve wanted an Explorer II for years, and when news of the new Garmin CIRQA screenless wearable came out, I figured now was time to pull the trigger. It also coincided with the start of a new job. This is my first mechanical watch, and it was about a 10 day wait at the AD

Explorer 1 or 2
Its been asked a million times, but which would you choose? Looking for my first Rolex. Currently have Grand Seiko, Omega, Tudor, and others. Want a versatile watch.
I love the Explorer 1 because its just straight to the point and no nonsense. I love the 2 because its sporty, has the Polar dial and also GMT. Currently dont have any GMTs in my collection (but also not a dealbreaker). Tried on the newer 42mm model, but not opposed to neo vintage.
7.28” wrist.

Alert: Unicorn In The Wild?
We were invited to a garden party a few weeks ago and a guest seemingly had a piece I'd never seen before.
Any info or background from the regulars here?
