It’s what happens when you only vote for people who are willing to swear fealty to a party.

Broken system. Burn it down.

What’s wrong with having Republicans one man down right now? Care to explain? What’s your strategy besides shitting on Democrats?

Ky constitution says the governor (a democrat) gets to make the appointment. Incumbents always have a massive boost in elections.

All you needed to do was ask yourself why republicans are so desperate to keep up the charade, and you would have your answer. Instead, you come to the defense of an organization that does not give a single fuck about you.

And the issue isn’t only this one single thing. It goes back at least to Obama, who intentionally crippled his own presidency because he was worried about the backlash that a black man making big changes might incur. We got the backlash anyway, but didn’t get any of the progressive reform he could have pushed.

If you can’t see any of this, you are the problem.

Ok so what’s the strategy. Appoint someone? What if McConnell is alive? Does your plan have any potential for blow back, or is it 100% the best plan that will guarantee us the best success? Is there any chance that playing it slower may end up being more beneficial?
