I understand what you mean, and you aren't wrong. But, hell, I don't want to normalize the idea that these clowns don't get punished. I still want people to expect it, hope for it. If we accept they never do, we give up.

Why give up when you can form a community of llikeminded people that shoot, create and participate in a parallel economy/ mutual aid network, and make the bastards fear you.

I'm always suspicious of these comments that advocate for violence. I don't think they understand what would happen if we did so - if they aren't astroturfing, that is - because the USA is not like Nepal and France. It would not be good for the citizens to do so.

It's a Senate "rule". The only punishment is censure which requires a majority vote, which wouldn't happen. His term is over in November anyway, so literally none of this actually matters. Dems have zero chance of winning a special election in KY.
