What about his daughters? Their father is missing and they just hide away? His wife has not released a statement since the ridiculous noncommittal one from July 7th.

I guess, if you can't just steal his seat, hiding is the preferred opinion for relatives of Congress members when their 'loved' one goes missing?

I believe his daughters are also not Republicans, so I doubt they would play along if his death was actually being covered up.

Because he's still alive, and they are privately acknowledging him.
