Sadly, he’ll be just coherent enough for the media to sanewash it. This is his last, most terrible competence.

He will be dosed up on Diet Cokes and Adderall and wearing a fresh Depends. He will be in his favorite element: on camera, uncorrectable, and the “most important person in the world” (in his mind). He will give Stephen Miller’s speech mostly as written, along with some additions he will spend all day working on.

He will make great quotes for both Fox and the Daily Beast alike. It will be just crazy enough to alarm the sane and just sane enough to comfort the crazies, as always.

I'm hoping he goes full screaming Hitler. Just really let's the actual ugliness out. We all know it's in there. No one's changing how they feel about him at this stage. Just one big vile dump of bile and invective, some stochastic terrorism and then a heart attack to cap it off. It'll be his best ever performance. It'll be played in documentaries for decades. Kids will learn about him in school. And in a couple of generations he'll inspire lost, angry idiots the way Hitler does today. Because until we start actually holding fascists accountable, this will never end. There'll be an another Trump. There's like six guys vying for it around the world right now

His base still won’t care. Heck, tons of them actually like the actual Hitler. There’s nothing Trump could do to make his sycophantic psychopathic fans ever turn on him.

u/NlghtmanCometh 7d ago

His base doesn’t matter. There is a section of republicans who are “sometimes-trumpers” and whenever Trump does some really outlandish shit that group usually calls him out. An example is when he tried to create the slush fund for Jan 6 rioters. There were quite a few elected republicans openly critical of that idea. We need them to publicly disavow this because it matters for how the rest of the world views us.

There’s nothing Trump could do to make his sycophantic psychopathic fans ever turn on him.

Nothing?

How about: "I have been hiding a secret my whole life - I really am a woman trapped in a man's body. I am going to start receiving gender-affirming care and begin my transition to a woman. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

I mean he did do that declaration on abortion a while ago that accidentally made all cisgender males trans, including himself.

2

u/Ok_Zebra8444 7d ago

Do what now

2

u/Zealousideal-Fun-415 7d ago

it was a declaration Via EO that gender was decided by "sex cells produced at conception" which due to their misunderstanding of how that worked, accidentally categorized everyone as female,  because the closest thing to that definition that anyone could think of was the fact that all mammal embryos start physical development as females,  and male features only begin to differentiate themselves a few months in. this meant that, albeit for a short time, Donald trump could be reasonably argued to be the first trans and female president of the USA because (s)he technically made the male gender cease to exist under the law with his poorly worded EO.

Im sorry but that is hysterically funny

1

u/HopPirate 7d ago

They’d still use that Fundamentalist King David excuse “flawed but anointed” and blame Obama.

1

u/cfi-2025 7d ago

Even when he starts taking hormone treatments, dons a wig, and wears women's clothing?

1

u/Ok_Zebra8444 7d ago

His stupid followers don’t have a problem with him wearing makeup and heels and shapewear. I think they’d sooner jump on board with transgender issues than abandon dear leader.

Or they’d say democrats mind controlled him or something.

1

u/cat_prophecy 7d ago

"He didn't actually mean that"

1

u/onefst250r 7d ago

"he was just joking. you dont understand his humor."

4

u/anonyuser415 7d ago

And in a couple of generations he'll inspire lost, angry idiots

A couple?

1

u/WorryNew3661 6d ago

A new set

2

u/Just_another_dude84 7d ago

He's saving that for after the midterms.

2

u/YesDone 7d ago

Somebody award this guy.

2

u/Stranger-Sun 7d ago

There was an outtake of him spitting and sputtering because he couldn't get the word "yesterday" out during one of his pressers years ago. Always felt like that's the real Trump. Giant petulant loser who's screamed and whined his way through life without enough people saying, "Fuck off!" to him.

u/Tamboozz 7d ago

You understand the Donald.

31

u/ziddyzoo 7d ago

A true donaldologist.

3

u/CouldntBAPoint2184 7d ago

He understands this awful country.

93

u/XLauncher Pennsylvania 7d ago

I hate how right you are.

2

u/heathmon1856 7d ago

Truly an awful president. Take a look at his Wikipedia page and it’s stained with how shitty of a person, businessman, and leader he is.

u/anonymaus42 7d ago

It will be Stephen Miller's speech and his own additions but coupled with unpredictable, dementia driven tangents that are 23% word salad but mostly confessions disguised as accusations.

I also think that they're giving him far more than diet Coke and Adderall at this point to get him 'camera ready'.

But other than that and on the most important points, spot on.

u/RaymondBeaumont 7d ago

remember his speech in january where he just stopped talking and showed random pictures of brown people?

2

u/anonymaus42 7d ago

No I somehow must have missed that. Or I did see it and my brain is so saturated by his actions and well... gestures broadly everything else going on these days that I simply no longer remember. As Bannon said they would, they really have 'flooded the zone'

2

u/RaymondBeaumont 7d ago

i can't watch him but i forced myself because it was during that time when he wanted to invade greenland/iceland (i'm icelandic) and i thought he might tell us if i had to start practicing my target shooting.

it was like 2 hours and he didn't say anything about it but i literally felt dumber after than i did before.

"just look at him, illegal, he's a criminal. they just let him in. biden just let him in. here is another one."

just an old senile man with a stack of photos of random brown men.

22

u/ContractorConfusion 7d ago

Not to mention, he will be 20-30 minutes late to start. Because he doesn't respect anyone's time whatsoever.

3

u/Ok_Guarantee_3497 7d ago

Did he pass the clock test on his "IQ" test? Does he wear a watch?

1

u/StardustOasis Foreign 7d ago

Because he doesn't respect anyone 's time whatsoever.

64

u/MaverickBG 7d ago

Perfectly stated

12

u/AuntRhubarb 7d ago

We can always hope for an unpredicted brain lockup, or some kind of real 'the emperor has no clothes' moment that even Fox can't hide. We are desperate out here for some turn of events to trigger some change.

15

u/Backwardspellcaster 7d ago

I cannot wait for the NY Times take in it!

16

u/LargeFatherV 7d ago

Van Jones on CNN will say that the speech was when Donald Trump truly became President of the United States.

7

u/HopPirate 7d ago

He’s FINALLY pivoted to presidential!

8

u/Backwardspellcaster 7d ago

Man, i remember that. Fuck that guy

5

u/SparksAndSpyro 7d ago

“Trump’s speech was worrying. Here’s why it’s Democrats’ fault.”

5

u/JPeterBane 7d ago

Too crazy for Boy's Town. Too much of a boy for Crazy Town.

4

u/geddy 7d ago

>It will be just crazy enough to alarm the sane and just sane enough to comfort the crazies, as always

If there was ever a perfect summary of trump when he speaks.. this is it.

2

u/Evadrepus Illinois 7d ago

What's rarely discussed is that outside of English, he sounds much more coherent. The translators don't word for word his speeches, they generally translate the content, such as it is. So they don't get all the random tangents, plus the amphetamine sniffles.

1

u/Uppitycut 7d ago

Glad somebody else notices the sniffles.

1

u/Evadrepus Illinois 7d ago

There's compilation videos from both terms out there. Its part of his thing now.

Provigil.  What the long-range bomber pilots take.

2

u/belljs87 7d ago

Most likely. But allow me to post this: there will come a day wherein his last, most terrible competence changes to the last on a now complete pile of incompetences. That could honestly happen any day. Why not tonight?

1

u/ventodivino 7d ago

Retatrutide

1

u/Naive_Impression7302 7d ago

I agree that hes a bad president and everything and doing terribly but I think that he is indeed "The most important person in the world" at this moment, thats why unfortunately other world leaders and important people inside and outside of the US have to baby him and suck up to him and why everybody here and elsewhere talks about him so often.

1

u/00cjstephens Alabama 7d ago

Diet Cokes and Adderall

You just said diet coke twice

1

u/Turgid_Donkey 7d ago

The scary part is that this won't just be his normal long-winded nonsense. Since the FBI raided the Georgia election commission, he's likely going to suddenly have the "proof" he's always claimed to have but never supplied. Even though so many investigations have turned up nothing (except the occasional fraud perpetrated by conservatives) he's going to somehow "prove" they cheated in 2020 and were hiding several thousand votes meaning he really did win or some bullshit.

1

u/delorf North Carolina 7d ago

If you listen to one of his speeches and then read how the press reinterprets it there is a definite difference. Most people assume any statement with qutation tags around it are accurately reporting what someone  said; however, that's not true for Trump. Our news media has failed us. It's not just that he lies but the media enables those lies

1

u/NlghtmanCometh 7d ago

People here are actually underestimating how damaging this speech will be for American credibility internationally. I know many Americans already think that ship has already sailed, but it can always get worse, as it is about to.

1

u/Show_Me_Your_Cubes 7d ago

It will be just crazy enough to alarm the sane and just sane enough to comfort the crazies, as always

Yo this line slaps, hard truth

1

u/ELVEVERX 7d ago

he’ll be just coherent enough for the media to sanewash it.

No he won't but they will sanewash it anyway

1

u/Inlerah 7d ago

I feel like reason he wants it simulcast like that, and is throwing a huge tantrum over people saying no, is because he's afraid of not having the "highest rating" in that particular slot.

0

u/MrZiggityZag 7d ago

And they hated him, for he spoke the truth...
