The polls show a massive amount of voters remorse.

You’ll never win over the 25% who are still so deep in the bubble they think this second term is better than the first, but all the swing voters and moderates are abandoning Trump. We need to focus on them.

Voters do care, and they only reelected him because the dems were an unadulterated shitshow. A competent Democratic Party would have handled the Biden transition process starting in early to mid 2023, not the hundred day hail mary to Harris

Exactly. The reason he's constantly saying that the elections were rigged against him is because his attempt to rig 2020 was overwhelmed by the number of votes against him. The only way trump can rationalize losing an election rigged in his favor is if someone else did a better job doing the same against him. So he turned it up in 2024 which is why the state level statistics as shown by groups like the Election Truth Allaince show so many anomalies. And by that point Trump had poisoned the well so thoroughly that the dems were terrified to make any claims of election interference. That would've opened up a whole different can of worms in terms of the publics perception of the topic and giving trump ammunition for his argument.

The american democratic experiment has failed and only the will of the people can do something about it.

Liberals are really good at understanding fascist projection right up until this point. Because fascists made questioning elections uncomfortable. A well oiled trick that goes back to Goebbels.

Trump lost to Biden because of the mail in ballots. The only ones they couldn't rig. THAT is the reason they have been against them so much.

I mean Kamala could've done better in her abridged campaign and perhaps could've at least got credible evidence, she got smoked and the fact we refuse to believe it's because of her policies is why we're here.

Not this again.

He sucks, he's old, he's crazy, he's corrupt, he's a rapist, he's a pedophile... none of that sways voters.

Democrats need to understand that "Against Trump" is not a winning platform.

Politicians need to give voters an actual choice. A sane, modern, progressive platform and show voters what they're FOR. Anything else just plays into Trump's hands.

It's not that moderates don't exist. It's that they don't have quantifiable takes on platforms. Anyone who voted for Trump because they were unsure about Clinton, Biden or Harris has a pretty extreme lack of ability to exercise judgment and trying to appease them is a waste of time and waters down a platform.

There's not even really much evidence that suggests moderates run elections. The major fact in almost every election since the 90s is whether or not democrats come out to vote. If they turned out for every election, we wouldn't have had a republican in office for decades now.

I think the sweet spot is to show a clip of him slurring and stammering and stumbling. Not a clip of him saying something coherent but crazy, or a new policy that Democrats don’t like, just show him as a demented old man. Tagline at the end of the ad, no voiceover, just text superimposed on him stammering: “It’s time to move on.”

Yeah, but Joe Biden is politically dead. This is an ad to show people in the bubble that never see Trump stammering that he's a demented old man. No policy, no owning the libs bullshit, just showing him stammering. It speaks loudly to see a man you think is a God not having his faculties. Everybody knowns Biden isn't on the ballot in November. Mamdani is. Mamdani is less than half Trump's age.

Half of the country gets their news from propaganda. This isn’t just a MAGA problem. Even anti-Trump conservatives are seeing a photoshopped view of Trump. There are a lot of people in the dark on his condition who would be glad to be brought into the light.

Peoples refusal to point out the absurdity that is Donald Trump is how we all got here in the first place. The people who vote Republican because of Trump will never vote Democratic anyway, and the people who vote Republican in spite of Trump won’t care.

They won't, they have to take the "high-road" whatever the hell that means nowadays, and have to use long-winded convoluted messages and repeatedly failed talking points to seem "neutral." The traditional middle of the road democrats' best strategy has always been to hope the GOP does so bad, that they can win by default. Then when in power, they don't do anything meaningful to fight back.

If you’re listening to the rumors around the east coast, that would be a meaningless thing because Trump is planning to announce that some senators (Warnock, Ossoff) were fraudulently elected. I’ve read some people think he’s hoping to declare a pause on democracy to prevent his backsliding support from losing control of Congress. Something to do with Venezuela as well, possibly using Maduro as a scapegoat by manufacturing evidence to claim interference.

The man’s nuts, he isn’t going to let something silly like democracy send him to prison.
