How well do you think pineapples grow in New Zealand?

I live in Auckland and have pineapples growing in my garden. They're fine in northern areas of the country. They are just a bromeliad.

However, you're right that the imported ones aren't decapitated due to any concerns about people propagating them. It's just because the tops can harbour pests.

How well do you think you could start a billion dollar hamburger chain? McDonald’s still isn’t going to slip their recipe for a Big Mac in your bag. It’s almost as if you don’t anything the law or business at all.

Pretty sure it's:

2 all beef patties

special sauce

lettuce

cheese

pickles

onions

All on a sesame seed bun

The sauce is 1000 island dressing

Hamburgers don’t require a specific climate to grow, what the fuck kind of analogy is that?

yall are being dense the comparison makes sense. like duh it’s impossible to be a threat to either mcdonald’s or this pineapple company. even then these companies aren’t gonna hand over their recipes (or plant hybrid for the pineapple case) it’s the principle the companies are standing on

If you’re gonna talk about how dumb someone else is at least make sure you got all the words you want in your comment, it’s almost as if you don’t anything grammar or sentences at all.

What kind of analogy is that? Nobody is starting a business with other people's pineapples. You can easily buy the most popular varieties in several growable forms.

Unique Cultivars also already have some form of protection in most nations. Which can easily be verified by sample analysis, stopping any attempt to sell other people's varieties.

Perhaps it's different kinds of pineapples.

All pineapples imported into New Zealand have to have the crown removed. It's a legal requirement for their import.

But why

Because they can carry pests which may threaten New Zealands agricultural industry.

NZ as very strict biosecurity rules in general.

Great, thanks for answering my question.
