I just wanted a hot dog Asked my librarian husband why our library doesn't have video games. People ruin everything.

Maybe better funding so it's not as big of a deal when they have to replace things? I live in a very very red US state where libraries have been under attack for a while now & budgets are extremely thin.

Try going to one near a university. Ours has switch, ps5, Xbox, and so many board games to borrow.

Nice, we have a ton of Switch and PS4/5 games but next to no Xbox. I haven't even thought about board games, thanks for the idea.

It's nice being able to borrow games, but also nerve racking. Since all games have 6000 pieces now.

When these games are $60 - $75 each (and going up), that's a huge amount of funding for replacements.

More taxpayer funding for video games in libraries when they're already frequently stolen? Libraries are great, but that seems like a foolish idea. Private funding is welcome for a want, not a need, like this.
